Maintenance of teak wood

Teak is very easy to maintain. You can wipe your furniture with a damp cloth and keep it clean. A soapy solution with green soap is best for your teak furniture. Removing grease stains from teak furniture

If you get grease stains on drawers or the back of your chairs, for example, they will generally disappear over time if you wipe them with a damp cloth with soap. If this is not the case, you can lightly sand these spots with fine-grit sandpaper. Cabinets, dressers and TV furniture, for example, will not get (grease) stains with normal use. Only a table top that is eaten at every day may have to endure a bit more. Here too, any stains can be removed very easily with a damp cloth with soap. If this is not sufficient, you can lightly sand them with fine-grit sandpaper.

Clean teak with green soap!

Green soap is an ideal product for cleaning your furniture. Fill a bucket or basin with some warm water and mix some green soap in it. Use a sponge to easily remove most stains. It is no problem to use the sponge with force. To ensure that you do not get a color difference, you should dry the table after cleaning. If you would prefer to treat your table with oil after a while? Lightly sand it and you can apply the oil.

You can find green soap on the supermarket shelf with the all-purpose cleaners. It is available in jars, but the most common are the yellow bottles with a green label. Driehoek Groene Zeep is the best-known brand. Of course, you can also order green soap via the internet from the designated online stores.
