- Wet the furniture and brush the mixture in with the grain.

- Lightly scrub and rinse thoroughly with the garden hose.
- Let it dry completely in a well-ventilated place, preferably out of direct sun.

- Spray the furniture, especially the moisture-prone areas.
- Wipe with a soft cloth. No rinsing needed.

Extra tips against mould on teak
- Place furniture in a sunny, airy spot if possible.
- Do not use a plastic tarp. Choose a breathable cover so air can circulate.
- Rinse off dust and pollen regularly and deep clean twice a year.
- Lightly sand once a year for a fresh look.
- Want to slow down greying? Use a suitable teak protector.
Our experience
We applied this method to our own teak garden furniture at Casa Lana in Portugal. The furniture looked fresh and clean again and the approach is easy to apply.
