For many years we have had the monastery tables with the beautiful thick tops made of old recycled teak wood and also the suar tree trunk tables with a top made from one piece in our range.
We were regularly asked whether iron legs were also possible in addition to the wooden legs that are standard with these tables. In our search for a reliable manufacturer, we ended up with a Dutch company and with success! In the past period, we have already delivered many tables with a steel base and the desired industrial look.
Create your own industrial table
You can come to us to pick out a top yourself. Please indicate upon arrival that you are specifically looking for a top that is suitable for a steel base. We have +/- 500 tables in stock and only the thick loose tops are suitable for an industrial base.
Consider the iron U or X legs as a set, but the spider leg that is centrally located in the middle is also possible.
Teak table top with iron base
The teak table tops are made of old recycled teak wood and are completely solid 6cm thick. These are very beautiful but also heavy tops and are available in the rustic finish and the smooth sleek version. Because these tops are made of recycled wood, it is possible that inserts are visible. This gives that extra character to the table.
The blades have milled steel tubes on the underside. These provide stability, minimizing warping.
The standard dimensions are from 200cm to 300cm, please inquire about the stock status if you are interested.
Tree trunk table with iron base
A solid wooden top of no less than 8cm to sometimes 10cm thick and from one piece! These tree trunk tables still have the organic shape of the tree, in combination with a metal base this gives a very sturdy and robust character. We usually have the tree trunk tables in stock from 160cm to 300cm. You can also choose from the industrial bases with U, X or spider leg. We also sometimes have unique one-off bases in stock. Come by and put together your own tree trunk table with iron base!
