At Souren Furniture we love monastery tables! We have been selling this model for indoor use for many years. This model is suitable for placing under a canopy, but not for placing completely free outside.

We were often asked if our monastery tables were also suitable as a garden table . That is why we have now adapted this model for outdoor use. Specially developed for and by us, the beloved teak monastery table for outdoor use !

To use a monastery table as a garden table, it is desirable for the construction that the top and also the legs have openings. The openings ensure that the teak can work and the different parts do not push each other away , which could give you a crooked surface.

It sounds very simple, of course, to make sure that there are openings in the top and the legs, but this table has a considerably different construction than the monastery table for indoors. Especially for this table we also went to Indonesia, to make sure that the production process goes completely according to plan. And if we say so ourselves, the result is impressive!
